Really basic food. Bogus beans that are nothing special. The service is where this place shines. Great service when you dine-in. I enjoyed the fish tacos, but again, nothing special.

Hello, delicious! To put it simply, this is the BEST Mexican food around Northern Illinois / Southern Wisconsin. I've only tried a few things off of their menu, but I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried. I could eat their taco dinners and tamales for days! The taco dinner comes with your basic three tacos (my favorite is the beef or chicken), and the standard Spanish rice and refried beans. All of those may be the norm when it comes to taco dinners, but these are the exception, in my opinion. Add a little bit of their green sauce onto your tacos, and we are in business, my friend. Their tamales come wrapped in the corn tortilla and are just as good! Their also double the size of ones that I've eaten at other Mexican restaurants. So getting double the size of a normal tamale and double the flavor? Yes, please! The people that work at this restaurant are also very nice and their service is always quick. The interior of the restaurant is cute as well-- full of Mexican knick-knacks. If you're in the Northern Illinois / Southern Wisconsin area, pay a visit to Pancho's. You won't be disappointed.

The guacamole here is amazing. By far my favorite I've had in the area. I love the burrito, chimi, fried ice cream, chips, quesadilla, tostada, tacos and torta. The fajitas are delicious too. The salsa is phenomenal.

Macho nachos not so macho. Only had 10 or so chips to finish a mound of meat, guacamole, etc. Tacos asi-asi. Overall good service, recommend the burritos, they won't disappoint Large and filled end to end.

One of the few places around that has good food everytime I go there, best food around.

Oh how I miss Panchos. It's literally 1 mile from my former workplace so we ordered lunch once or twice a week. Humongous burritos filled with tons of meat and rice, chorizo tacos with rice and beans is to die for. Never had a bad bite here. I stop in whenever I go down to Illinois to visit family.

I've driven past this place more times than I can count, I've always wondered about it... good, bad, terrible, great... what was the real story behind this little shack on Cty H that seems out of place. Curious, but always preoccupied with some other destination so never took the time to check it out. This past weekend we weren't interested in competing with the Lk Geneva crowds for the mediocre to bad food in that town (with few exceptions duly noted). We didn't want to wait til we got home to the burbs to eat - it'd be too late - so after hitting BP for gas decided to give this a go. Man, am I glad we did. I'm a bit of a MX food afficionado, it's one of my favorites and there's nothing like finding a needle in the haystack (or, corn bin.... ) like this. They are so few and far between, as most MX restaurants just fall short in my opinion. Most have at least one serious defect, and it's usually about food quality or taste. Even one of my staple go-to, sure-thing places in a strongly Hispanic area in the burbs has disappointed me lately, so I was thinking my options were dwindling. Everything we had was good. The service was good, the food was good, the price was fair (I reserve 1 star for the failure to include chips & salsa with dine-in orders, it costs about $3), and the place was clean enough - not immaculate, but not grungy. Hey for Mexican food in the middle of the corn fields (yeah I know, Genoa City isn't a corn field) this place is damn good. I would eat here more if it were nearer to home. That says a lot, considering the plethora of MX food places within 10 miles of my home. I will definintely be back to try more of the menu. I've had other MX food in WI, but it's always been bad (don't jump down my throat pls - I know there are good places, I just haven't hit them. I know Milwaukee has it's fair share). We had a popular spot in Portage about 10 miles from the property we owned up that way, but it was NOT GOOD - yet the place packed 'em in. That's TWO places we like in Genoa City. Now, if someone would just restore Keller's to it's rightful place atop the totem pole of SE WI supper club glory like it was 30 years ago, Genoa City would be a culinary mecca. Of sorts. Oh yeah - GOD I HOPE the weekenders never overrun this place.

It can be hard to find true non packaged Mexican food joint on the road and you certainly would not think on the state line of WI and IL would be the spot but then I found this place and was glad I did! Food was authentic, service was friendly and quick and after multiple trips, I can not find anything on the menu that I would not eat. If your close, stop by and you will not be disappointed!

MMMMMMMmmmmmm. Good food and reasonable prices. BUT, I don't want everyone going there because it is kind of small inside...so you can order carry-out and leave the seats for the rest of us :)

Authentic food at reasonable prices. Not much of an atmosphere but it really doesn't matter as the food is solid. Great homemade salsa and tamales. Easily the best around. Not many tables and they fill up at lunch.

I used to love eating there until they got weird. I called in an order one night and they hung up on me every time I tried to talk. I was persistent because I really wanted their enchiladas for dinner. After 20 minutes of constantly trying, they finally stopped hanging up on me and said hello. I put my order in and thought nothing of it. They explained to me, when I got there, that my name on the caller ID confused them and that they thought I was a telemarketer from Washington. That was weird, too. I thought it was an innocent mistake, but my food was burnt to a crisp and tasted horrible. It was my first bad experience there....and my last. I never went back. I think it was a bad sign from the beginning when they ignored my calls. We had been going there for over a year and really enjoyed their food until this happened. I will never go back.

Great authentic food! We were visiting over a weekend and came a second time because it was so good! We had different servers each time, and both were very friendly. Food was reasonably priced and we didn't have to wait long for it!

Every time we head to Lake Geneva our mouths start watering knowing that we will hit Panchos on the way there! Small, deceptive appearance....incredible, authetic food. Beer available. Great portions. Fair Prices.

Wonderful authentic Mexican food. Friendly service. Very small & understated, but worth stopping at.

Excellent mexican food, in that last place you would think to look. Don't let the building scare you, the food is awesome. Never had anything bad from here.

Had a simple afternoon snack of tacos and beans, and was delighted with quality, preparation, and taste. Both their red and green homemade salsas are just wonderful. Even the glass of water was unusually good -- they are apparently blessed with a superb well. Would happily go out of my way to repeat this experience.
